Courage to live a spontaneous life

E.E. Cummings said, "Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit."

I've been thinking about what it means to live life to the fullest. Is it in the people I choose to spend my time with?

As I get older I realise that living life to its fullest is one of the most important things I can do for myself, especially now that I'm in my 30s. I'm at that age where it is important to put myself out there, make moves, and take chances I never thought I would take.

The perfect word to describe my current life goal is spontaneity, to live in such a way that every single day is filled with little adventures, that I take risks often, and never be afraid to fail.

Right now, life for me is all about hopping in a car and driving wherever the wind calls my name, it's about joining a class that's out of my comfort zone. But most importantly it's about allowing myself to do the unexpected and have faith that I can conquer anything.

I'm allowing myself to live like there's no tomorrow; like really I have no reason not to.

Living for the present is one of the best things I've done for myself. That sense of adventure that I get from doing something spontaneous has truly made me happier. Some of the things I've started to do to live my life more spontaneously, are meeting new people and allowing myself to be open to new opportunities, travelling to new places and exploring new things, and lastly, allowing my curiosity to explore the wonders of the world.

The moral of the story is to live for today. Take charge of your life, and never let anything stop you from living out your dreams.
